what we believe
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, and sufficient Word of God, and therefore the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
In accordance with this conviction, we affirm the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689) insofar as it faithfully summarizes the doctrines taught in Holy Scripture, recognizing the Bible as our final and supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice. The Confession does not stand above Scripture, but serves as a historic and careful expression of the system of doctrine we believe the Scriptures teach.
Flowing from these convictions, we commit ourselves to the mission of proclaiming the reign of Christ through the faithful preaching of the Word, the right administration of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and the loving exercise of church discipline—unto the building up of the saints and the advancement of Christ’s kingdom in the world. Our desire is to be a faithful local church ordered by God’s Word, governed by Christ, and devoted to His glory in every aspect of our life together.
